Final day in our Bavarian Home Garmisch

For our last day in Garmisch we visited a near by town of Etelle. We saw the Cathedral for the town. It is actually a boarding school for local children.

They have a dairy, beer factory, cheese factory, and distillery all within the Cathedral grounds. (notice the cow bell- all the cows had them)

In the afternoon we went to the other half of Garmisch. Partenkirchen. It has beautiful little streets and ornate buildings.

For dinner we had a picnic up Risersee around the lake.

 We found our dream home.

That evening we hiked up to German war memorial.  The field was covered with goats.

The views of Garmisch was great.
 Ski jump in the background.
