Sunday Stroll in the farmland

We went for a walk up on the hilltops above the town.

 Lots of flowers.
Coming down the hill with our Grandma.
Summer is sunny, you have to wear shades.

Into France where we Metz

Yesterday we went to France to a town called Metz. They have one of largest Cathedrals in the area.

In Metz they have a giant market. It had everything. We bought cheese, bread, croissants, peas, and fruit. We ate it along the river by a fountain.

On the way home we went to a World War two cemetery. It is the largest in Europe. All American soldiers.  This headstone was of a man from Montana.

In worms we went to a huge cathedral.

After we went to Worms we went to a huge park in Manheim. My dad went here when he was my age almost 30 years ago.

The Flight to Germany

We made it to Germany. Barely. We got stuck in a thunderstorm in Chicago, but still made our flight to Frankfurt, running onto the plane.

Here we are watching a movie on the Luftansa flight. Chipmunks 3

Dinner on the plane. Pasta and bread with chocolate moose. Fancy!

Hagen Daas of course for second dessert.
